I dont know what happened here but I do know that I was in serious need of a bath afterwards. All I can say is its a good thing it wasnt gravy that I was covered in or Largo might have eaten me.

Pssst grandma, don't tell mom!

Mom says no sugar before bed but what she doesn't know won't hurt her. This is between you and me!

OK this is just humiliating

Mom gave me some toast to eat! I never would have taken it and played with it until I was covered in crumbs if I knew that she was going to subject me to this form of humiliation.

Aaron just wanted to call

Mom and Dad took this silly video of me trying to call grandma and grandpa. I really wanted to talk to them but in the end all I got was a ride on Largo. Now it is my bedtime and Mom and Dad say that I have to got to my room. Goodnight for now.

My little hero

It is so cliche, people always say that "they grow up so fast" I truly can not believe that we have moved on from sleepless nights and newborn sleepers to sippy cups, baby food and hiking backpacks. Aaron is my little man, he no longer wants to lay on his back and look at the fan, now her wants to roll over, chew on toys, and laugh like there is no tomorrow. He is six months old. I it hard to believe that he will be sitting up on his own any day now.

My first Golf Club

Here is Aaron with his very first golf club! He is so excited to play. When you swing this club it makes sounds and lights up. Largo goes crazy everytime. Hopefully mommy and daddy will be able to play pretty soon. We need to brush up on our skills so we can teach the little monster when he is ready.

Build a Bear

We went to Build a Bear and built a playmate for Aaron! His name is Lefty and he is a Boston Red Sox Bear. He is larger then life to Aaron and Aaron just loves to play with his bat and glove. When you squeeze his left hand he plays "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" Aaron is still learning all of the words. For those of you who are unsure, Aaron is the one on the right.

The Seaport Adventure

Lara got a free pass to go to the Mystic Seaport to see the Clydesdale's that were in town for the parade. We jumped at the chance to bring the babies and show them the sights in the Seaport. We thought it would be fun to see the horses and then walk around a little bit. You know teach these little men some culture. I think that they both really enjoyed the outing. I mean just look at how excited they are in the photo.

My well behaved monster

Well Aaron is usually such a good boy but when we put him down next to Jacob hes just can't help himself. He has gotten a reputation for being a bit of a bully. Lucky for us Jacob forgives and forgets these moments of violence. Although he does look a little scared in this last photo.

Cozy

Thanks for the cool fleece jacket Aunt Lauren! It keeps Aaron toastie warm when we go for a walk in the jogging stroller during these cold monthes! You can see how happy Aaron is that he gets to get dressed up and go out for some exercise. He gets almost as excited as Largo does!

where's Aaron?

Playing nice with others

Here is a photo of my well mannered little man. He is learning to share his toys and play well with others! This is his best friend Jacob. Jacob is three days older the Aaron and absolutely adorable. They just love to play together. In fact Jacob grabbed Aaron's hand and sucked on it like a teething ring! Aaron tolerated this for about five minutes until he decided that he had enough, then he swung his feet around and kicked his little buddy causing a small melt down. Oops sorry Jacob, he did not mean it!
We are so lucky to have Jacob and his parents in our life!

so many suprises

Aaron is growing up and changing so fast. In the time it took me to download these pictures he rolled over from his back to his tummy all by himself. From day one he has been out preforming our expectations. He came into this world a week earlier the we expected. He was already holding his head up in the hospital. Then he pulled a Houdini act on day twelve. I had taken him for a stroll around the neighborhood. We were in Florida so clothing was not imperative to keep warm. He had just messed up the sleeper he wore to bed so I just wrapped him up in a blanket and off we went. After the walk I needed a shower and he was sleeping so I laid him in his crib and jumped in the shower to get cleaned up. A few minutes later i emerged and was relieved to see my little angel sleeping soundly in his crib all wrapped up and cosy. I ran into the bedroom to find some sweatpants and through my hair in a pony. In the time it took me to literally throw on some clothes I heard my little man stirring, not fussing mind you, just talking away. I walked over to the crib and to my amazement my twelve day old son was no longer wrapped in his blanket. In fact the blanket was at the foot of the crib completely out of his reach. If you think that is surprising let me just tell you. His diaper had been soiled and wet and well... removed. His diaper which had been securely fastened by none other then his very competent mother, was now a foot and a half away from him lying in his crib face up so as not to make a mess. It was so unbelievable that he managed to remove both Velcro tabs and hurl his diaper clear across the crib at a time when he could not begin to control any bodily movements. I will never be sure how he managed to pull this stunt off. I know for sure that we were the only ones home and that the family dog, Largo was not able to assist in this charade do to the height of the crib. I can only assume that God above was reminding me to stay on my toes and that this child would always find ways to amaze me.
